Geological, ore and geochemical features of graphite gneisses and sulphide-graphite-quartz rocks of the Zvenyhorod-Bratske tectonic zone located in western part of the Inhul Domain of the Ukrainian Shield have been studied. Structure of the zone is characterized with a presence of a significant amount of submeridional faults with blastomylonites, mylonites, cataclasites. They are interlayed with slightly tectonically altered and not altered host rocks. Within the structure an increased content of ore elements, such as Cu, Zn, Mo, Ag, Au, As and partially Pt, Pd were detected; they determine geochemical specialization of graphitized gneisses and sulphide-graphite-quartz rocks. Two locations of intense graphitization and sulphidization were identified: in north-eastern part of the structure; in framing of the Lypniazhka granite-migmatite massif. The graphite amount in mineralized zones reaches 20%, it sometimes reaches up to 30-40% in hematite-quartz-graphite zones and breccias. Sulphide minerals form fine-grained inclusions or grid of different directions; their amount is up to 10%. Sulphides are represented with pyrrhotine, pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite, arsenopyrite, molibdenite. Analysis of graphitized and quartz zones indicates that they belong to two different processes.
Keywords: graphite, sulphide-graphyte-quartz rocks, sulphide minerals, silver, gold, Zvenyhorod-Bratske zone, western part of the Inhul Domain.
