The distribution of gold in the source rocks and weathering crusts Brusilovsk suture zone. The quantitative indicators of gold and other elements in the sequence. The concentration of gold in the weathering zone is defined by a predominance of clay component. For example, if the content of gold in biotite granites (0.03 g/t) in gruss-clay -area metal concentration 3 times higher (up to 0.09 g/t) in the hydromica-clay – 1.8–7.2 g/t, kaolinite – 0.1–1.8 g/t. When calculating the concentration of Clark (СC) of gold in weathering crusts relative source rocks (in particular, biotite granite) is set as follows: gruss-clay – 2–3; hydromica-clay – 5–15, kaolinitic horizon – 3–7. The highest concentration of gold is characteristic of hydromica-clay zone of weathering crust. The concentration of gold in the weathering zone is defined by a predominance of clay component. For example, if the content of gold in biotite granites (0.03 g/ t) in gruss-clay area metal concentration 3 times higher (up to 0.09 g/t) in the hydromica-clay – 1.8–7.2 g/t, kaolinite – 0.1–1.8 g/t. For the detection of gold weathering crusts great importance of structural and tectonic conditions of the territory. When considering the geochemical characteristics of weathering crusts research area was divided into tectonically quiet zones and zones of tectonic disturbances. It was determined that in zones of tectonic disturbances mobile forms As and Li are indicators of searching for gold in weathering crusts, regardless of their type. Their high migration capacity (next to fluorine) allows anomalies interpreted as being associated with zones of tectonic disturbances. In tectonically quiet zones established correlation between the content of Au and mobile forms of Y, Yb (for hydromica-clay horizon) and Y, Yb, Zr (for kaolinite horizon).

Key words: gold, weathering crust, source rocks, сlarke concentration, Brusilovsk suture zone.
