Examined the questions about the possibility of identifying gold occurrences in the weathering crusts within Brusilov suture zone. Discussed the processes of formation of gold-bearing weathering crusts. On the content of total and mobile forms of chemical elements in the secondary halos and their interpretation are set indicator elements of gold: in primary halos – Mo, Bi, Ag, Cu, Zn, W, and in the secondary dispersion halos – Li, Zn, Ni; thereby identifying promising areas for the prospecting for gold (area – Sidoru, Krulovka, Belka, Svitintsi).
