On the genesis of alkaline metasomatis of the Ukrainian shield

The main types of alkaline (with aegirine, arfvedsonite and ribeckite) and alkali felspathic metasomatites in the Ukrainian shield are considered. The similiarity of vertical zonality (by peculiarity of mineral composition) of apogranitoid alkaline metasomatites (fenites, albitites) related genetically and spatially to alkaline-ultrabasic (carbonatitic) complexes of magmatic rocks, apojaspilitic alkaline metasomatites and uranium-bearing albitites is shown. It is concluded on deep-derived source of fluids that caused formation of uranium-bearing albitites and their possible genetical relation to carbonatitic complex rocks.
