Systematic analysis of geological and structural position, matter composition of manifestations, ore occurrences and deposits of molybdenum and tungsten on the Ukrainian Shield enables to identify genetic types of ore-bearing metasomatites, such as: wolframite-cassiterite-greisen, scheelite-skarn, molybdenite-greisen, rareearth-molybdenum-uranium-thorium, molybdenite-alkaline and molybdenitepegmatite. Main metallogenic factors, which define location of the main genetic types of tungsten- and molybdenum-bearing metasomatites, are structural factor, lithological one, magmatic one and mineralogic-geochemical one.
