Ukrainian Shield is the richest region in alkaline metasomatites. Next types of alkaline metasomatites are distinguished: 1) fenites related to massifs or single intrusive bodyes of alkaline-ultrabasic (carbonatitic) complexes;
2) uranium-bearing albities and metasomatites of K-U complexes; 3) apojespilite alkaline metasomatites.
Apogranitic (most widespread), apoquarcitic and apobasitic fenites are known in the East Azov region. The vertical and lateral zonation of alkaline metasomatites is found. It displays by increasing Ca in alkaline amphiboles and pyroxenes with increase of depth formations of these rocks. TR, Nb and Zr mineralization are conected with fenites. Ore-bearing alkaline metasomatites have a deep source (by isotope data of C, O and Sr).
