Palladina Ave., Kyiv, Ukraine, 03142<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.15407\/gof.2025.46.072\">https:\/\/doi.org\/10.15407\/gof.2025.46.072<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The content of silver (gross and mobile forms) and organic matter in agricultural and pasture soils contaminated with sewage sludge from the Bortnytsia aeration station and conditionally \u201cclean\u201d soils of the Kyiv region was determined. Gross Ag concentrations were determined by approximate quantitative spectral analysis, mobile forms by atomic absorption, and organic matter content by volumetric chemical analysis.<br \/>\nThe background content of gross (0.14 mg\/kg) and mobile forms (0.000125 mg\/kg) of silver in the soils of the region was established. An inverse correlation (R2\u00a00.8) was found between the content of gross and mobile forms in the soils of contaminated agricultural and pasture lands, and a direct linear correlation (R2 0.8) in the soils of conditionally \u201cclean\u201d areas. It was found that silts have the highest gross silver content \u2014 6.7 mg\/kg and the highest organic matter content \u2014 20.6%, while soils of contaminated agricultural and pasture lands have approximately the same silver content (4\u20145 mg\/kg) and organic matter \u2014 4.2\u20144.4%; conditionally \u201cclean\u201d areas are characterized by the lowest silver content (0.11\u20140.18 mg\/kg) and the lowest organic matter content (1.3\u20142.1%).<br \/>\nIt has been established that the highest percentage of mobile silver forms is observed in the soils of conditionally \u201cclean\u201d pasture lands \u2014 0.18%, while the lowest percentage is characteristic of silt fields \u2014 0.003%, which is due to the fact that humic acids bind most silver complexes well.
