The geological structure of the Mezhyrichne ilmenite deposit, which is located within the Volyn titanium-bearing district, is briefly described. Industrial concentrations of ilmenite are confined to the Mesozoic-Cenozoic weathering crust and the Cretaceous Irshansk and Moshno-Rudnyanska Formations. The highest ilmenite content is found in secondary kaolins, gravel-pebble deposits, and sands of various grain sizes. All areas of the Mezhyrichne deposit exhibit a sharp variation in the hypsometric position of the ore body\u2019s roof and base. An attribute database was created based on production reports, including coordinates, descriptions, and sampling results from 3354 boreholes. This database formed the basis for cartographic constructions, such as the roof, base, and thickness of the productive layer, as well as the lateral distribution of the average ilmenite concentration within it, and for mathematical and statistical data processing. Maps of the roof and base of the productive layer correlate with each other, although the base shows more pronounced variations in absolute elevation. The Bukynska (78.7 kg\/m3), Yemilivska (78.2 kg\/m3) and Yurska (77.2 kg\/m3) sites have higher average ilmenite concentrations than the deposit average (74 kg\/m3). The Bukynska (10.6 m) and Yemilivska (11.4 m) sites also have greater productive layer thicknesses than the deposit average (9 m).<\/p>\n
